Creamy Tomato Mustard Sauce

Servings: 4 people
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp grainy Dijon mustard
- 1 cup white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp tabasco
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and Pepper
In a high-sided pot, add two tablespoons of tomato paste, two tablespoons of mustard, and one tablespoon of Dijon mustard.
Start cooking over medium heat, whisking constantly to ensure the ingredients don’t stick to the bottom.
After 2-3 minutes, add one cup of white wine and keep whisking.
When the sauce darkens and has reduced by 2/3, add 1 cup of cream and continue whisking.
Add one teaspoon of Tabasco, along with salt and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
When the sauce begins to thicken, add one tablespoon of butter and mix well.
